Dazzling Blue Kale

Remarkable and vigorous Lacinato-type kale, blue-gray in color with purple reflections. Its leaves are embossed without being crimped, which makes cleaning easier. Good resistance to cold which improves flavor. Developed by Hank Keogh of Avoca in collaboration with Wild Garden seed. 30-60 days.

Sow indoors, 5mm to 1cm deep, 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Gradually acclimatize outdoors, before transplanting, 40-50 cm apart, 2 weeks before the last frost. Harvest the leaves from the bottom up.
